Data Deletion

Doc Scanner 2027 does not create an online account. Your working documents are stored locally and can be deleted directly from your Android device.

Delete one document

1. Open Doc Scanner 2027.
2. Open the document menu and choose Delete.
3. The document moves to Recently Deleted.
4. Open Recently Deleted and choose Delete permanently to remove it immediately, or allow automatic removal after 30 days.

Remove the AI API key

1. Open the bottom Settings panel.
2. Open the AI recognition settings.
3. Choose Remove key.

The encrypted key is also removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.

Delete all local app data

Use Android Settings → Apps → Doc Scanner 2027 → Storage & cache → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. This removes the private database, pages, PDFs, recognized HTML, locally stored signatures, settings and API credential from that device.

Third-party information

If you used optional AI OCR, OpenAI may retain API abuse-monitoring data under its policy. If support payments are enabled and used, Stripe and Peter’s Engineering may retain transaction records required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes or law.
